Lady Gaga has announced the release date for her new album ‘Born This Way’.
The singer made the announcement via her official Twitter page, Twitter.com/ladygaga, writing that the record will be released on May 23 and that the album’s title track will be made available on February 13. She also posted a picture of herself sporting a leather jacket with the album’s title written on the back.
February 13 is also the date for the 2011 Grammy Awards. Lady Gaga is nominated for six awards, with the release date leading to speculation that she will perform the song at the ceremony.
‘Born This Way’ is the follow-up to 2009′s ‘The Fame Monster’, which was the biggest-selling album in the world in 2010, shifting over 5.8million copies. previous news
