'The Glee Project' ends with a twist
If the creators of "Glee" are looking for new faces to bring into the fold then they've found it with "The Glee Project." Nineteen-year-old Samuel Larsen from Los Angeles and 18-year-old Damian McGinty of Derry City, Ireland, both won the inaugural season of the talent competition show where they each get a seven-episode arc on "Glee." Larsen, a rocker with dreadlocks, was described as having a "cool, indy, rock spirit" that has been missing from the hit Fox show
The judges believed McGinty, however, was the most likable and most improved. The show put 12 contestants through a "Glee" bootcamp where they were critiqued on their singing, dancing and acting throughout the 10-week series. The other finalists, Lindsay Pearce, 20, and Alex Newell, 18, didn't go home losers.
The show's co-creator Ryan Murphy was so impressed he decided to write them into two episodes of the show. "Glee" returns for its new season in September.

Kelly Clarkson's New Album and Single Get Release Dates
Kelly Clarkson’s fifth studio album – now titled Stronger – finally has an official release date and a first single. But with repeated dates that did not fall through over the past 10 months, is this one for real?
Sounds like it is. Available on August 30, track “Mr. Know It All” is lined up as the first single, while the album itself will be hitting stores on October 25. Taking an unconventional approach, Clarkson is releasing “Mr. Know It All” via webcast from her official site, KellyClarkson.com, and the song will be available digitally on September 5. Fans who pre-order the album through the website will automatically receive the single.

Bebas Tuduhan Khalwat, Raja Azmi Akan Buat Pendedahan
Penerbit filem Raja Azmi Raja Sulaiman akan mengadakan sidang media khas untuk mendedahkan apa sebenarnya yang berlaku berhubung tuduhan khalwat yang dibuat ke atasnya dan bekas jaguh badminton negara, Roslin Hashim.
Ia akan diadakan di Hotel Concorde, Kuala Lumpur pada Rabu ini, pukul 4.30 petang.
“Saya akan membuat sidang media untuk menjelaskan tentang tuduhan khalwat melibatkan saya dan Roslin. Segala-galanya akan didedahkan pada hari itu. Buat masa ini saya tidak mahu memberi komen lanjut,” katanya kepada mStar Online di sini, Isnin.
Raja Azmi enggan mendedahkan butiran kesnya itu sehinggalah pada majlis berkenaan.
Difahamkan sidang media itu dibuat selepas tiada pendakwaan terhadapnya oleh pihak Jabatan Agama islam Wilayah (Jawi) yang sudah beberapa kali tertangguh.
Selain itu, isteri kepada bekas jaguh badminton negara, Jailani Sidek ini juga akan mengadakan majlis doa selamat dan berbuka puasa sebagai tanda syukur terhadap kesnya itu. more
