American Idol: The Top 4
The four finalists of "American Idol" were returning to the stage on Wednesday, May 11 to compete for the top three spots. With Lady GaGa as guest mentor, they performed two songs: one is an inspirational song, and the other is from Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller's catalog.
Top 4 performance review:
James Durbin opened with Journey's "Don't Stop Believin' ".
James sang "Love Potion No. 9", and GaGa told him to shake his hips because he looks sexy when he does it.
Haley Reinhart delivered her version of Michael Jackson's "The Earth Song".
The second round was started off with Haley's performance of "I Who Have Nothing"
Scotty McCreery came out next with "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning" by Alan Jackson
Scotty opted for "Young Blood" and he delivered it with his comedy style
Martina McBride's "Anyway" was Lauren Alaina's pick for the first round.
Lauren with "Trouble". She was worried about what people might think of her because the song says "I'm evil", but GaGa convinced her to do it anyway

Lindsay Lohan Receives 120-day Jail Sentence
Lohan sentenced to 120 days in jail: Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service on theft charges, and must report there by June 17, a judge said on Wednesday, media reports say.
Lohan’s lawyer entered a no contest plea for the troubled actress, accepting the charges and sentence against her, according to CNN. She was not at the hearing, which was in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga just released her third single off Born This Way, “The Edge of Glory,” co-written by Gaga, Fernando Garibay, and DJ White Shadow.
Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band lends his virtuosic saxophone skills to the power ballad, which Gaga claims she was inspired to write after the death of her grandfather in September.
“The song is about your last moment on earth, the moment of truth, the moment before you leave earth,” she said in a fan-generated interview with Google earlier this year.

Bin Laden's widows still not accessible by U.S
The dispute over access for U.S. officials to Osama bin Laden's three widows, who were taken into Pakistani custody after the raid that killed the leader of al Qaeda, has become the latest test in the adversarial relationship between the CIA and its Pakistani counterpart, the Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate.
Pakistan has not allowed U.S. investigators access to the widows, nor shared their own interrogation report, a Pakistani security official said Tuesday. The official was speaking on condition of anonymity in keeping with the rules of his organization. more
