Innocence of Muslims Video

Innocence of Muslims, the controversial film that has sparked uproar across the Middle East for disparaging Muslims, has erupted into lawsuit.

Cindy Lee Garcia demands that YouTube take the film off of the video-sharing site.

Cindy Lee Garcia, one of the actresses in the film, has filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court against the film's producer Nakoula Basseley Nakoula (aka Sam Bacile), alleging that she was duped into appearing. She's suing because the producers have allegedly violated her likeness and participated in fraud and unfair business practices.

In addition, Garcia is going after YouTube and its owner Google, after the video-sharing site refused to take down the film. She says she advised YouTube that the video contained unauthorized use of her image, but that the video wasn't taken down.

Awie & Ziana Zain Beraksi Di Kejohanan Piala Sultan Selangor 2012

Dua penyanyi tersohor Awie dan Ziana Zain bakal membuat persembahan sempena kejuaraan bola sepak Piala Sultan Selangor edisi ke-11 yang akan berlangsung di Stadium Shah Alam, di sini pada 29 September depan.

Kedua-dua penyanyi itu akan menampilkan satu persembahan istimewa sebagai tanda sokongannya kepada pasukan Selangor yang akan menentang Singapura pada perlawanan itu.

Ziana Zain berkata, membuat persembahan dalam sesebuah acara sukan seperti itu diharap mampu memberi semangat kepada pasukan Selangor agar dapat menewaskan Singapura selain membangkitkan perasaan teruja penyokong-penyokong bola sepak tempatan.

Shila Amzah menjuarai pertandingan Asian Wave 2012

Pelakon Sharnaaz Ahmad memuji penyanyi Shila Amzah dan menganggap dia layak diangkat sebagai juara pertandingan Asian Wave 2012 yang berlangsung di Shanghai, China pada malam Khamis lalu.

Sharnaaz, 27, berkata, kejayaan tersebut adalah ganjaran Tuhan atas kerja keras Shila selepas 12 tahun bergelar artis serta kesungguhannya membuat persiapan termasuk mempelajari bahasa Mandarin sebelum menyertai pertandingan itu.

Pada peringkat akhir Asian Wave 2012 itu, Shila berentap dengan 12 penyanyi termasuklah finalis dari China, Korea Selatan, Singapura, Thailand dan India.

Shila yang juga anak kepada penyanyi dan pelakon 80-an, ND Lala berjaya memukau juri dan penonton dengan kekuatan vokalnya mendendangkan lagu Gemilang nyanyian asal Jaclyn Victor, Grenade dan sebuah lagu Mandarin berjudul Zheng Fu (Na Ying).

Pada peringkat awal pertandingan yang berlangsung dari 31 Ogos hingga 6 September lalu, Shila mempersembahkan lagu popular Adele, Set Fire to the Rain dan lagu Mandarin Forever Love (Wang Lee Hom) di samping 30 peserta lain.

The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as Euro 2012, is the 14th European Championship for national football teams organised by UEFA. The final tournament is being hosted by Poland and Ukraine between 8 June and 1 July 2012. It is the first time that either nation has hosted the tournament. This bid was chosen by UEFA's Executive Committee in 2007.

The final tournament features 16 nations, the last European Championship to do so (from Euro 2016 onward, there will be 24 finalists). Qualification was contested by 51 nations between August 2010 and November 2011 to join the two host nations in the tournament. The winner of the tournament gains automatic entry to the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup hosted by Brazil.
